We don’t carry a lot of names you’ll see in department stores and eyeglass outlets but you’ll find, when you visit, that our frames are not more expensive. Over the years we’ve learned that many of the smaller designer shops create superb quality frames with a unique look. We take the time and have the experience to professionally adjust and fit your new frames so that they are comfortable and will last a long time.

Look over the designers we feature here, people like Grotesque, Mykita, J.F. Rey, Etnia Barcelona, Ronit Furst, Kala and many more. You’ll see the difference. We don’t sell discontinued closeouts, seconds and knock offs. We are authorized dealers for every brand we represent.

There’s a difference between doing business with a chain store or someone working out of their house and dealing with us.

We’ve been in Lancaster, first as Olde Towne Opticians (started by Joe’s uncle Charlie) on Duke Street and then our new store and name, European Eyeware on Harrisburg Avenue in College Row, for almost twenty years. In that time we’ve made a lot of friends and we’re proud to say that almost all of them come to us whenever they need glasses. We’re established here. If you need something you know where to find us. We’re not simply an email address or a phone number. Anytime we’re open, if you need an adjustment, repair or have a question, we’re glad to see you.

Try that with someone selling frames out of their trunk.

We’re also part of the community. The money you spend stays here. It doesn’t go to a corporate office in some state (or country). We’re involved in the community and you, our customers make that possible.
